Description
The Mazda Autozam AZ-1 is one of the rarest kei cars ever made — a mid-engine, turbocharged pocket supercar with gullwing doors, built in tiny numbers between 1992 and 1994. The Mazdaspeed variant pushed it even further, making the AZ-1 a cult favourite among Japanese micro-car enthusiasts and JDM collectors worldwide. Matchbox debuts this casting brand new in 2026 in Silver, with opening gullwing doors that show off exactly why this tiny car punches so far above its weight.
